Snow! No Way! Final Event at PPIR Nov. 7th and 8th

NASA Members,

Revkah and I sincerely apologize for the cancellation of the final weekend at High Plains. Unfortunately, the storm turned out to be more severe than anticipated.

Although it looks like the track would dry out for Sunday, we still felt that it would be best to hold off. As noted in my email signature, “Organization, Fun and Safety….” I didn’t feel that we could meet those and provide the quality that we demand by continuing with the event.

We’d like to get in the one last weekend that people were expecting and the forecast is looking good for the next week. HPR is not available next weekend, so we have arranged for PPIR.

1) If you had registered for HPR and would like to attend the 11/7 - 11/8 event at PPIR, you need to do nothing.

2) If you had registered for HPR and don’t want to or can’t attend PPIR - contact me for a full refund.

3) If you hadn’t registered, but would like to attend the 11/7 -11/8 weekend at PPIR I have reopened registration.

Lots of Fun for 2009

Check out the updated schedule for 2009, which looks to have two, yes two, High Plains Raceway dates! Follow the link on the top right-hand side of the page, or click here.

This could potentially mean that NASA would be the third club ever to inaugurate High Plains Raceway, not to mention potentially the first ever Vintage Race!
